Terms of Service
The agreement between TaxElita and the firms that use it.
The service
TaxElita provides practice management software to tax and accounting firms. A firm's account holder accepts these terms for the firm and is responsible for its staff's use.
Trials, packages and payment
New firms start with a free trial. After it, choose a package to keep working; otherwise the workspace becomes read-only after three days of grace, with everything kept. Packages are billed monthly or yearly in advance in Pakistani rupees. Moving up applies at once with a charge for the rest of the period; moving down applies at the end of the period. Unpaid bills: the account becomes read-only seven days after the due date until paid. AI and messaging use beyond a package's allowance uses credits bought in advance.
Your data
The firm owns what it puts into TaxElita. We process it only to provide the service, as set out in the Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy. The firm is responsible for having the right to keep its clients' information and for what it sends to them.
Acceptable use
Don't use TaxElita to break the law, send spam, try to reach other firms' data, overload or attack the service, or resell it without our agreement.
Professional responsibility
TaxElita is a tool. Tax calculations follow the rates each firm sets; AI suggestions must be checked by the firm; filings are made by the firm on the authorities' systems. The firm remains responsible for its professional advice and filings.
Availability and liability
We work to keep TaxElita available and your data safe, and we back it up. To the extent the law allows, our liability for a claim is limited to what the firm paid us in the twelve months before it.
Ending
A firm can cancel at any time; the subscription runs to the end of the paid period. We may suspend an account for non-payment or serious misuse, after notice where possible. After closing, a firm can export its data for 30 days.
Changes and law
We'll give notice of material changes to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
